Old Glory American Flag Decoupage Glass Tray

A familiar emblem, seen through a softer lens. Old Glory captures the American flag as it might appear in an old schoolbook or a timeworn print—waving gently, full of history, pride, and quiet reverence. It’s patriotic without bravado, nostalgic without feeling fixed in the past.

Handcrafted in our New York City studio using the traditional French art of découpage, this bent-glass tray is made one at a time. Vintage-inspired imagery is layered beneath glass and fired into permanence, creating a luminous surface with subtle variations that ensure no two pieces are exactly alike. Each tray is individually signed by Ben, a mark of its place within his world of thoughtful, enduring objects.

Both beautiful and functional, the tray is food safe, wipe clean, and finished with a felted back. Style it flat on a table, display it upright on a gallery easel, or hang it with a plate hanger as a small, meaningful work of art. Each piece arrives with a folded card explaining the time-honored découpage process.
